Everything you need to know before ordering — how fast we ship, what made-to-order really means, and answers to the questions we get most.

Shipping

How long will my order take?

Every shirt and sticker is made to order. That means we don't stock inventory — when you check out, our print partner starts producing your item.

  • Production: 2–10 business days (typically 2–5 for most items)
  • Shipping (standard, US): 3–5 business days after production
  • Shipping (express, US): 1–3 business days after production ($12.99)
  • Total: expect your order in roughly 1–2 weeks

You'll get tracking info by email the moment your package ships.

What does shipping cost?

  • US shirts: FREE standard shipping on every shirt order.
  • US stickers: FREE — shipping is always included in the sticker price. No surprises at checkout.
  • Buy 3+ stickers: save 20% automatically — discount applies at checkout.
  • International: rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and cart contents. Canada, Australia, the UK, and most of the EU are supported.

Express shipping is available at checkout for $12.99 (US only) when offered by your shirt's print provider. Express is limited to select shirt variants. Standard is always free.

Where do you ship from?

Orders are produced and fulfilled by our US-based print partner. We currently ship to the United States, Canada, Australia, the UK, and most of the EU. International shipping times are longer (2–4 weeks) and customs fees/duties may apply depending on your country.

Returns & exchanges

Can I return or exchange my order?

Because every item is custom-printed for you, we can't accept returns or exchanges for sizing or change-of-mind reasons. Please measure before you buy — see our Size Guide.

What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?

If your item arrives defective, damaged in transit, or is not what you ordered, email us at contact@shirthappens.app within 14 days of delivery with a photo. We'll reprint or refund — no argument. See our full Refund Policy for the fine print.

Product quality

What kind of shirts do you use?

Our standard tee is the Bella+Canvas 3001 unisex — ring-spun cotton, pre-shrunk, soft and durable. It runs slim-to-true. See the Size Guide for measurements.

What about the prints? Will they crack or fade?

Prints use industry-standard DTG (direct-to-garment) or screen-printing processes. With normal machine-washing (cold water, inside-out, hang dry or tumble low) they hold up for years. Don't iron directly on the print.

How are the stickers made?

Kiss-cut vinyl stickers printed on premium sticker paper with a matte finish, weatherproof for indoor + light outdoor use (laptops, water bottles, notebooks). Two sizes — 3" and 4".

Orders & payment

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Production starts fast — usually within an hour of checkout. If you need to change or cancel, email us immediately at contact@shirthappens.app. Once production begins the order is locked.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal.
