How does a custom pet portrait gift work?
- Upload a clear photo of the pet. Phone photos work, including iPhone HEIC files. Good light and a visible face give the best result.
- Pick a style, such as Royalty, Astronaut, Van Gogh or Santa Hat. There are dozens of styles, grouped into themes like everyday, birthday, famous art and holidays.
- Check the preview. Up to 10 previews a day and 30 in total are free until your first pet order. Redo a version if it is not right.
- Choose the product and order. Every item is made to order.
The portraits are AI-generated art. You approve the exact preview before you buy, and that preview is what prints, without the preview watermark.

What is the best custom pet portrait gift for my budget?

Can I put more than one pet in the portrait?
Yes. Choose how many pets, up to 10, and add one photo per pet if they are in separate photos. Puzzle scenes have their own limits, shown on the puzzle page. Big groups can take a retry to get every pet right.
How long does a custom pet portrait gift take?
Production usually takes 2 to 5 business days, and up to 10. US standard shipping then takes 3 to 5 business days. For Christmas 2026 delivery in the contiguous US, order by Monday, November 30, or by Wednesday, November 25 for sweaters. These are recommended dates, not a guarantee.
Items made by different print partners ship in separate packages, each with its own tracking email. Checkout shows the total shipping cost before you pay.
What if the gift arrives damaged or wrong?
Each item is printed for you, so we cannot take returns for size or change of mind. If it arrives damaged, misprinted or not as described, email us within 14 days of delivery with the order number and a photo. We send a free replacement, or a refund if a replacement cannot fix it.
What happens to the pet photo?
We keep photos and portraits so you can reorder, and you can delete them any time from the pet portrait page. Previews you never order are deleted after 180 days.
